Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Cybersecurity
We are looking for a highly driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our fast-growing cybersecurity team. As the first point of contact with potential clients, you’ll play a critical role in driving pipeline growth through strategic outreach and qualification efforts. You’ll work closely with an Account Executives (AEs) to identify key decision-makers, understand customer pain points, and position our security solutions as the answer.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect into target accounts via cold calls, personalized emails, and social media to generate qualified leads in the cybersecurity space.
- Research and identify key stakeholders in IT, security, and compliance departments within enterprise and mid-market accounts.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to build account strategies, tailor messaging, and convert leads into meetings and opportunities.
- Qualify leads by assessing needs, budget, timeline, and technical fit.
- Maintain clean and updated records in the CRM (e.g., Hubspot), tracking all prospecting activity and lead progression.
- Stay informed on industry trends, common security pain points, and competitors to engage prospects with relevant insights.
- Contribute to the improvement of messaging, outreach cadences, and overall sales process efficiency.
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly KPIs around outreach, qualified meetings, and pipeline generated.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Driven, self-motivated, and comfortable with high outbound activity and goal-oriented environments.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner effectively with Account Executives and cross-functional teams.
- Interest in the cybersecurity industry and eagerness to learn complex solutions and customer pain points.
